Murifa Sejahtera was established in 2004 after the global financial crisis had called a temporary halt to most big investments in the Indonesia’ food industry. Many companies had already over- stretched  themselves  during  the  previous  boom  years  and  were  consequently  going  through  a serious self-analytical period and consolidation process.

 

Murifa Sejahtera’s initial role was to help small companies to flourish as new opportunities arose out of the crisis. Customers could not delay their purchases any longer and needed to invest in new equipment,  but  they  could  not  always  justify  the  high  capital  outlay  associated  with  established corporate suppliers. The relatively small sizes of the Indonesian suppliers meant that they had low overheads,  minimal  management  structure,  were  keen  to  develop  and  were  totally  flexible- machinery  advancements  and  design  developments  came  very  quickly  to  suit  the  immediate requirements of the market.

 

As a consequence of this, the range and quality of machinery produced by these small companies improved  dramatically,  to  the  point  where  we  can  all  work  closely  together  as  one  big  team  to provide “an all-in-one solution”, from raw material handling right through to finished automated warehousing, sometimes incorporating used (refurbished) machinery to reduce capital costs even further.

 

By maintaining this flexibility and dedication in offering only the best and most  cost-effective solution in each case, we have built up a size able business in  the  region, with complete plants supplied for producing the following product types :-
